Basic Rights Queensland (BRQ) has developed two NDIS factsheets in response to concerns raised by disability advocacy agencies in relation to the following issues:
- The need for information and support in relation to Service Agreements for NDIS participants who wish to manage their own NDIS plan, or for a friend or relative who is managing the NDIS plan on the participant’s behalf.
- The need to ensure that NDIS participants understand what is a “First Plan” and can follow a simple process to ensure that this first plan is reviewed in a timely manner, ensuring that their subsequent plan really does reflect their goals and aspirations.
