P2P would like to update you on important changes to NDIS supports that took effect on the 3rd of October 2024. We understand that changes can be worrying for participants, families, carers, and providers, but want to reassure you that the core purpose of the NDIS remains the same: to provide funding for disability-related support.

Here’s what you need to know about how these changes will affect you as an NDIS participant or provider.

Key Changes: 

Starting October 3, 2024, there is a new definition of NDIS support.

This means:

Participants and their representatives can only use NDIS funding for items on the approved list of supports.

Funding cannot be used for items on the list of non-NDIS supports.
