What’s On October: Moreton Bay and Brisbane

What's On Moreton Bay and Brisbane

October is shaping up to be a month full of connection, conversation, and community in our region. Whether you’re keen to cast a line, enjoy a morning walk, or join us at one of Queensland’s biggest inclusive conferences, there’s something for everyone.

 Taum’s Fishing Day is Back!

We’re excited to continue Taum’s Fishing Day peer group this October. Join us for a relaxed morning by the water – rods, bait, and light refreshments are provided, so all you need to bring is yourself! Look out for the Purple P2P flag at both locations.

Thursday, 23 October – Deep Water Bend Reserve
 9:30am start

It’s a fantastic opportunity to meet new people, share a yarn, and enjoy the outdoors.

October is shaping up to be a great month for connection, fresh air and fun in the Moreton Bay region.

Every Tuesday morning at 9am, Shaun and Tee host our Walk ‘n’ Talk Peer Group. Meet us at the entrance to the Redcliffe Jetty for a casual stroll along the foreshore, followed by coffee at a nearby café. It’s the perfect way to start your morning with connection, movement, and conversation.

Take a look at all of the upcoming Walk ‘n Talk events here.

We look forward to seeing you at one—or all—of these wonderful October activities!

Loud and Clear Conference

Our team will also be heading to the Loud and Clear Conference on Thursday, 9 October and Friday, 10 October.

This event is Queensland’s biggest all-abilities conference, celebrating advocacy, voices, and choices. We look forward to connecting with so many people from across the state.
