November is shaping up to be another busy and exciting month for our P2P Moreton Bay community!
Our Walk n Talk Peer Group continues every Tuesday at 9am, meeting at the entrance to the Redcliffe Jetty. It’s a great way to connect, catch up, and enjoy the beautiful bay views together.
Please note: there will be no Walk n Talk on Tuesday, 11 November.
Last month, we farewelled Tee, who has been an important part of the P2P Moreton Bay team for the past two years. We want to thank Tee for her incredible contributions and the difference she’s made in the lives of our community members.
We’ve got two Fishing Days with Taum coming up this month:
- Thursday, 6 November – Baxters Jetty, 9:30am-12:30pm
- Thursday, 20 November – Suttons Beach, 9:30am-12:30pm
The second fishing day will also include a special session with the Redcliffe Peninsula Drum Circle, it’s sure to be a great day out!
Later in the month, join us for our Supported Employment and Advocacy Workshop on Thursday, 27 November from 10am at Chermside Library – Meeting Room 3.
This workshop will explore what supported employment is, how advocacy can help create better job opportunities, and ways to make your voice heard when it comes to your work and rights.
