Parent to Parent recognises the important role of ‘The Shack’ Nambour in providing assistance to people experiencing homelessness or those at risk of homelessness.
Pastor Dale Dowler runs the drop-in centre which is used by dozens of homeless people and disadvantaged youth every day with people calling in for a shower, breakfast or a hot lunch.
Parent to Parent’s staff lead by Karen recently collected some food items to make a donation to The Shack as a show of support for this community organisation that ‘runs on the smell of an oily rag’ and relies on support from local businesses and churches.
