We recently had the pleasure of meeting with Ms Dianne (Di) Farmer, Member for Bulimba (ALP), Shadow Minister for Education and the Early Years, Shadow Minister for Youth Justice.
We took the opportunity to talk about some of the exciting things happening at Parent to Parent (P2P)
✅ FREE Workshops at Bulimba Community Centre – Shadow Minister Farmer is excited to support and help spread the word of these initiatives. Our workshops are open to people with disability and their families/carers.
✅ Loud and Clear – We shared how this advocacy initiative helps people with disability speak up, advocate for themselves and be heard.
✅ Funding for Disability Support— the importance of funding for organisations that provide essential services and initiatives, especially with all the changes happening in the NDIS.
✅ Taums Fishing Day 🎣 – A local favourite and a fun, inclusive event that brings the community together
