Loud and Clear Qld is made up of people with intellectual disabilities. We are trailblazers because we held our very first fundraising stall at the Woombye Happy Day Festival on Sunday 5th May. Some of us were managing money, making milkshakes, or handing out flyers.
We told people what we were doing and asked them to come and try our milkshakes and help us raise money for the Loud and Clear Qld all abilities conference and concert. We had people lined up to try our amazing milkshakes. Family, friends, and our carers attended to help us with the stall or just to buy milkshakes.
We made 240 milkshakes by the end of the day so we worked really hard raising over $800.
We had a blast and we are hoping we will attend others like this in the future so we can get out there and tell people about Loud and Clear Qld. LnCQ lives by our motto: Inspiring Inclusive Communities through Self-advocacy.

Our members have already started planning our Loud and Clear Qld Conference for 2024. We developed our theme which will be
“Dream Big – Be The Best I Can Be”.
Parent to Parent is supporting Loud and Clear Qld to raise much needed funds for our annual Conference and Concert for 2024.
We have partnered with Containers for Change to become a local collection point for our community.
On top of that, with this partnership, when at your local collection point, members of the community can choose to donate their earnings instead to a cause of their choice.
