Katrina and the Gladstone Peer Support Group welcomed guest speaker Dominic Martin from the Queensland Police.
On Tuesday the 25th of February we held our fortnightly Gladstone Peer Support Group and our guest speaker was Dominic Martin from the Queensland Police.
Dominic answered questions asked by the attendees as well as explained some of his operational duties and the procedures should something happen and what the reporting person can expect depending on the situation.
Being able to facilitate the groups is one of my biggest achievements, and I love being able to use my role and skills to empower and assist others.
Facilitating the groups has helped me grow and given me the chance to showcase my skills in a way that assists others. – Katrina
