Celebrating Peter Rowe

In 1994 Peter was introduced to Facilitated Communication and his life changed dramatically.

He is the author of many children’s books and an award-winning artist.

He has since self-published and illustrated eight children’s books, and is also an exhibiting Artist and presenter.

While Peter Rowe’s books are at first glance aimed towards children, upon raising one’s awareness of Peter and his amazing story you soon realise that within the animated, colourful pages are messages that are universal in relation to showing compassion, love and being respectful, inclusive and unified in embracing the unique difference’s we as a human race share.

Peter was in Gladstone recently to launch his art exhibition called “ Take  A Seat ”.

The general public and staff from Gladstone Community Linking Agency were able to meet Peter, prior to the launch, hear his story and ask questions.

He inspired many people that afternoon and for some of the staff of GCLA, he reinforced their enjoyment and commitment to working in the disability sector.
