Sue Campbell started her working career as a Hairdresser at 15. This role taught her the values that she still practices today in her role as P2P Vice President.
Sue counts her ten year role as the Chair of the Wide Bay Burnett Regional Council as a significant leadership role. Sue has also represented people with a disability and their families in the Hervey Bay region. This included roles on the Minister’s Disability Advisory Committee and her involvement in Fraser Coast Quality Lifestyles, Fraser Coast Family Networks and the Wide Bay Respite Service.
As a founding member of the Parent to Parent Board, Sue first joined to keep up to date with what was happening in the Queensland Disability sector. Having felt supported by P2P, Sue wanted to offer support to other parents.
Sue, who brings 41 years of lived experience to her role as Vice President, is looking forward to celebrating P2P’s 25th Anniversary in 2023.
