Jan Bell started her working career in Infrastructure Technology, supporting Customer Accounting at Telecom Australia.

Jan’s most significant leadership role was during her time as a Team Leader within IT Systems Software Distribution, Quality Assurance and Service User Support with the Department of Social Security and Centrelink.
She has also been a member of multiple advisory groups and management committees over the last twenty years.

Jan has been a member of the Parent to Parent Board since 2005, becoming Treasurer in 2006. This role allowed Jan to work with like-minded people to assist in providing best-practice, person-centred and socially-valued support to other families.

Jan brings 30 years lived experience as a parent and 28 years working in the Federal Public Service to the Parent to Parent Board. In addition, Jan contributes attention to detail, accuracy and a passion for collaborative teamwork.
