P2P Moreton Bay: Fishing Day with Taum

We’re excited to invite you to our free Fishing Day – a welcoming, peer-led group for people with disability, their families and supporters. Whether you’re an experienced angler or have never held a fishing rod before, everyone is welcome to come and enjoy a relaxing day together.

Time: 11:00am – 2:00pm
Where: Baxters Jetty, Shorncliffe
What We Provide
Don’t worry if you don’t have your own gear – we’ve got you covered! We’ll have:
- Spare fishing rods available
- Bait and tackle supplied
- Plus a free sausage sizzle for everyone!
What to Bring
- Hat and sunscreen (it can get sunny by the water!)
- Water bottle to stay hydrated
- Your own fishing rod if you have one (but don’t worry if you don’t)
