P2P and COVID-19

Our team at Parent to Parent QLD is monitoring the COVID-19 situation closely and following updates from the government and health officials.

We are streamlining this information so that you can stay informed and safe.

We’re here to support you

Monday 2 August 2021

As per QLD health directions the 11 LGAs previously under mandatory mask wearing directives are now in a hard lockdown.

This means that our office is currently CLOSED. P2P staff are working remotely to ensure that your requirements are met as per our normal operations.

People with disability: Information about COVID-19

9 April 2020

Our office is now open to visitors as per our normal business hours, with all staff following strict COVID-19 hygiene procedures.

Other updates to P2P’s operations include:

  • Face to face meetings for support coordination, PATH planning, or other NDIS services have resumed under strict conditions;
  • Visitors to the Woombye office must register their details and follow hygiene procedures and physical distancing as instructed by staff;
  • If you have any COVID-19 symptoms or are unwell, please do not come to the office, and advise staff prior to any face to face appointments;
  • If you live or work in any of the restricted areas, as per Queensland Health directives, please do not ask for face to face appointments at this time.

Here is a handy blog for Queenslanders with disability which covers lots of useful information relating to COVID-19.

We are continually updating information and resources as information becomes available and will share this through this page, regular emails and blog posts. Please contact us if you aren’t receiving these important emails. If you know people who don’t have access to the internet, please pass on our phone number so they can call us to discuss other ways of getting information to them.
